Please include:

Your full legal name
Your current city, country, and time zone
The title of the role you are applying for
Your CV as a PDF attachment
One or more links to relevant code or other work samples
A brief explanation of why you want to work at m9rx
The number 42, displayed clearly at the top of your application (a simple anti-bot check)
Your expected hourly rate and currency
Your earliest available start date
The number of hours you expect to work per week

Applications, CVs, and portfolios prepared with AI or LLM assistance are not accepted; we want to see what you can do on your own.

m9rx is based in Montreal, Canada. Preference may be given to applicants based in Canada, but we welcome applicants from anywhere in the world. Applicants must be legally able to enter into an independent-contractor agreement, issue valid invoices, perform the work in their jurisdiction and receive payments from Canada. Any engagement must also be permitted under Canadian sanctions and other applicable laws.

m9rx evaluates applicants based on merit: their skills, experience, and the requirements of the role. We do not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other grounds protected by Canadian law.

About m9rx

m9rx builds products and services around the open-source mgmt config project. James, the founder and primary architect of mgmt, started the project in 2013 after working extensively with earlier automation tools and wanting something better.
