Before FOSDEM
James will likely be at CentOS Connect for day two. Feel free to say hi and ask for a sticker!
During FOSDEM
James will be at FOSDEM for both days. He’ll have stickers to give out, and is mostly there for good conversations in the hallway track!
Speaking
James is speaking at CfgMgmtCamp 2026. Come early to get a good seat in the talk. The conference is free, but registration is required. He’ll be around all three days and is looking forward to many good conversations and sticker sharing.
Workshops
During CfgMgmtCamp
On Wednesday, 04/February/2026, James will be running a free workshop co-located with CfgMgmtCamp. The workshop is free, but registration is required. You may contact us to reserve a space or add-on the workshop with your normal conference registration ticket. Attendees will need to bring a laptop with a functioning SSH client. A GNU+Linux laptop is recommended but not required.
After CfgMgmtCamp
From Thursday to Friday, 05-06/February/2026 James will be running an invite-only mgmt engineering/hacking session. This is intended for more advanced users or those who want to contribute to the mgmt source code. If you’d like an invite, please let me know!
In Spain
James will be in Spain. If you’d like to join a private workshop or engineering/hacking session please get in contact.
Monday to Wednesday, 16-17-18/February/2026 James will be in Valencia.
Friday to Wednesday, 20-21-22-23-24-25/February/2026 James will be in Madrid.
Elsewhere in Europe
James will be passing through Amsterdam, Arnhem, Brussels, Ghent, Karlsruhe, and of course Valencia and Madrid. James will have limited availabilities during the trip, but a possible short hello or impromptu demo/engineering/hacking session might be possible if you’d like to arrange something.
